Edible Book Festival

This year, Milner Library celebrated its fourth annual observance of the International Edible Book Festival on Wednesday April 1, 2009. This year's event featured 16 entries and 7 prize winners.

The International Edible Book Festival occurs each year on or about April 1 and is celebrated in more than 18 countries worldwide. Contestants are invited to create edible works of art and share their creations with others. All entries must be have some relationship to books, either in appearance or content. Milner Library invites everybody--staff, faculty, students, ISU affiliates and the general public--to submit entries and to participate in judging and tasting.

More information can be found on the International Edible Book Festival home page at http://www.books2eat.com/Books2eat/books2eat.html or by contacting Ross Griffiths, Preservation Librarian, via email or phone at (309) 438-7463.
