There are many ways to include Milner Library's Digitization Center in your project.

Digitization in Support of Collection Building:

The Digitization Center is here to assist University Library collections in making their resources available online. Contact us and we will work with you to evaluate your potential project and begin the process of digitally reformatting your material.

Include us in your grants:

We can assist you in developing the cost structure for your digitization related grants. Contact us as you begin the writing phase of the grant and we can help you determine the items we would need to accomplish your goals as well as the appropriate levels of staffing. Collaborating in this way will help to build a strong Center capable of reformatting many types of material for campus projects.

Digitization in Support of Instruction:

The Milner Library mission is to provide resources in support of instruction at Illinois State University. The Digitization Center will forward this mission by providing no or low cost assistance with digitizing material for use in classes. This will include direct support through the Library's Electronic Course Reserves.

Fee based services:

We have done research to determine the costs associated with doing digitization projects in our Center. If you have a collection of materials that you would like reformatted and have an account to pay for digitization, we will be glad to submit a bid to you. Illinois State University Departments requesting reformatting work from the Digitization Center should contact the Center to request a non-binding quote. Non-profits and commercial businesses can use the chart below to estimate the costs of their reformatting projects.
