How does podcast work?

A podcast is a media file that is distributed over the Internet using syndication feeds, for playback on mobile devices and personal computers. A consumer uses a type of software known as an aggregator, sometimes called a podcatcher or podcast receiver, to subscribe to and manage their feeds.

Download Podcast software:

Windows: Juice | Doppler | iTunes

Mac: Juice | Transistr | iTunes

After installation, click on the podcast icons on the Podcast page to add programs to your podcasting software. If it doesn't load automatically, paste the following URL in your software: http://www.library.ilstu.edu/assets/podcasts/speakers.rss.

If you have problem getting the updated events as listed, try to clear the cache out in your browser. How?
