Ann Seidl has a master of library and information services from the University of Denver.  She is a library consultant and the owner and principal of information, Managed, a library consulting business which provides library research and GIS analysis products to libraries and library systems.  She completed the screenplay for the film in 2003 and has spoken at annual library conferences in more than ten states and Canada about the documentary.  For additional information visit Ann's web site www.hollywoodlibrarian.com.

The Bryant Jackson Lectureship was established in 2003 by Dr. Joe Kraus to honor his Associate University Librarian, Bryant Jackson.  The lectureship is an annual event with speakers of the highest reputation in library research.

Frequently, we recognize the contributions of retiring heads of the library, but rarely do we acknowledge the contributions of those who are second in command. Mr. Jackson served in numerous positions at Milner Library for more than 26 years.  His dedication to the library excellence deserves to be recognized. "The Bryant Jackson Library Lecture Series is an atempt to focus the spotlight on Mr. Jackson and to initiate an event that will be useful both to the Library staff and to the university community." Dr. Joe W. Kraus
