General Information:

Subscription services and databases are available from any computer with Internet access:
     Start at the library home page. [http://www.library.ilstu.edu]
     For subscription resources, you will be asked to validate with your ULID and password.
     Be sure to keep your password current.

I have provided URL’s for resources that are available on the open Internet, so that you can go to them directly, even if your ULID and password are not working properly. Also, these can be shared with your business partners for their use once you are gone.

CIA World Factbook
Profiles of each country of the world. Covers geography, population, government, economy, climate, etc. This site also includes maps that can be downloaded in gif, tif or pdf formats.

Country Briefings - Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU)
Much free information, but items noted as "premium content" are only available by subscription.

Global Marketing Information Database  (GMID) – subscription resource
Select your topics and then select your country from the list under the region. Data can be displayed in Excel, and can be downloaded or printed.  Also view the Consumer Lifestyle report.
