Things to remember

• Be professional!
• Honor the time of the person you are interviewing.
• Make the purpose of  your interview and the information you are seeking clear.
• Let the person know ahead of time you are looking for specific information (like the economic impact of an event).
• Don't be surprised if you won't be able to obtain all of the information you want.
  
• Compile your questions ahead of time, but be flexible and responsive.
  
• Write a thank you note.
