University Research Grants (URGs) at Milner LibraryUniversity Research Grants are small, in-house grants that may be used to fund travel, equipment, supplies and staff or student assistance for research projects. Milner proposals do not compete with proposals from other colleges. The proposals are reviewed by the Faculty Research and Development Committee, which makes award recommendations to the Dean of University Libraries, who announces the awards. Applications are announced in Feburary and due by May 15th. Recommendations are made by June 1st with funding available in July (pending state budgets and university allocations).
