Milner Library is seeking applicant for a 9 month appointment in a full -time, non-tenure track position providing library-related instruction to freshmen in general education classes. Appointment includes approximately ten - fifteen hours a week of reference assistance, including some night and weekend shifts. This position will report to the Coordinator for Library Instruction and Information Literacy.

Qualifications:  Master’s degree from ALA-accredited program required; effective oral and written communications skills, experience and/or interest in library instruction, emerging technologies, and reference.

Position Available:  October 1, 2009 and will run through June 30, 2010. 

Salary: $33,750 for 9 months plus benefits.
