Milner Library introduces Find It service

In March 2004, Milner Library introduced Find It, a linking technology that integrates sources and services. Find It provides context-sensitive links from citations in databases to online full-text, if available; to the Milner Library Catalog; and other services, such as interlibrary loan forms and Milner's Ask a Librarian service.

You'll see Find It buttons in most of the databases Milner licenses (show me a list). They appear beside citations in the retrieval lists that come up after a search. Clicking on a Find It button launches a pop-up window with a menu of options that are relevant for that specific citation. Because Find It is context-sensitive, the menu of choices that are presented will vary for each citation.

Please ask a librarian if you have comments or questions related to Find It. Please use the Report a problem selection on the Find It menu, if you experience any problems with this service.

Find It is supported by SFX™ technology from Ex Libris USA and works with information resources that support the OpenURL protocol.
