Statistical compendium that measures all aspects of American political, socioeconomic, and cultural life. Arranged into subject areas. Available in print format at the Information Desks on Floors 2 and 4.

Statistical Universe—Congressional Information Services

Statistical Universe allows users to search summaries of statistical publications, and in some instances to link to the full-text of selected publications on Statistical Universe and government Web sites.

U.S. Census Bureau—Commerce Department

Offers overview of the Bureau’s programs and services. Includes a search engine that locates data on specified topics, and locates keywords that link to related information.  
 

American Factfinder provides users with the capability to browse, search, and map data from many Census Bureau sources: the 1990 Census, the 1997 Economic Census, the American Community Survey and the Census 2000 Dress Rehearsal. In early 2001, the data from Census 2000 will be available in American Factfinder.
