Economic Report of the President
A direct link to the annual Economic Report of the President.

Economic Statistics Briefing Room
This White House briefing room provides a summary chart and overview statistics with links to detailed data on each of six areas: gross domestic purchases prices, consumer price index, producer price index, prices received by farmers, prices paid by farmers, and crude oil prices.

Fed in Print: An Index to Federal Reserve Economic Research
A database of federal reserve economic research maintained by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Related sites include:

Archival Federal Reserve Economic Data provides access to older data.

The Beige Book, summary commentary on economic conditions by Federal Reserve district, published 8 times a year.

National Bureau of Economic Research
A private, nonprofit research organization offering citations and abstracts of research and access to data and analysis from NBER and other sources.

NetEc
Another mega-site, NetEc is an international academic resource to improve electronic economic communications, including printed working papers in BibEc, electronic working papers in WoPEc, web resources in WebEc, and even jokes about economics and economists in JokEc. The site is no longer being updated.

Roubini Global Economics Service - RGE Monitor
Maintained by a professor at NYU's Stern School of Business, this site has an international focus and provides information on current macroeconomic and financial policy topics.

2006 Index of Economic Freedom
A database providing detailed information about economic policy for 161 countries provided by the Heritage Foundation and The Wall Street Journal.

USDA Economics,  Statistics and Market Information System
The system contains nearly 300 reports and datasets from the economics agencies of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. International in scope, most reports are text files that contain time-sensitive information. Most data sets are in spreadsheet format and include time-series data that are updated yearly.

World Economic Forum
An independent international organization providing a wide range of data in the Knowledge Navigator section of their web site.

Institute for International Economics Working Papers
