About the Milner Military Science collection: Contains many works on military strategy, tactics, and life in the armed forces. The books are in the call number range of U (Military Science) and V (Naval Science) located on the 5th floor. Reference materials and current periodicals are on the 2nd floor.

About the Military Science Librarian:
Chad Kahl has been working at Illinois State University since 2003. In 1993 he received a B.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with majors in Political Science and History. In 1996 he received an M.S. from UIUC in Political Science, with a focus on international relations, specifically international organizations. He received an M.S. in Library and Information Science from UIUC in 1998. He has worked with political science departments while working as a librarian at the University of Southern California and California State University, Los Angeles.
