Giving Opportunities
Milner Library supports the University Mission by providing users with an intellectually-engaging destination that maximizes their opportunities for learning and scholarship. In addition, Milner Library is the home to a unique collection of memorabilia, books, and other special items in its Special Collections. Milner also houses photographs that document Illinois State University’s first 150 years. You can preserve the legacy of Illinois State University and its special collections by contributing to: ~ Redesign and revitalization of the Special Collections area, including paint, carpet, and the addition of the reading room tables from "old" Milner to help bring back the flavor of the campus landmark (now Williams Hall) to "new" Milner Library; ~ The Eunice Speer Scholarship fund supports students enrolled in coursework at Illinois State University for the Library Information Specialist endorsement; ~ The Bryant Jackson Lectureship; ~ Friends of Milner Library provide grants to special projects; or Contact Cheryl Elzy, Dean of University Libraries, caelzy@ilstu.edu (309) 438-3481 or Barbara Todd bttodd@ilstu.edu at (309) 438-2592 for other opportunities to support Milner Library.
