The latest editions of most reference titles are located in the Floor 2 reference collection. Items in the Floor 2 reference collection are available for use in the building and cannot be checked out. Older editions of many reference titles are located on the shelves (usually Floor 3) and are available for check out.

Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy
One of the most reputable and popular philosophy sites available on the web. Hosted by Stanford University, the encyclopedia is a work in progress. Its entries are written by major philosophers. Site content is not yet complete, but progress is being made each year toward completion of the project. The site is supported financially by universities throughout the U.S.
The Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy
A non-profit resource compiled by specialized philophers on a voluntary basis. Current general editors are James Fieser of the University of Tennessee at Martin and Bradley Dowden of the California State University, Sacramento.
Guide to Philosophy on the Internet
A meta-site with an extensive collection of links to philosophy sites on the Web, including general reference information, material on individual philosophers, bibliographies, journals, and more.
Episteme Links
One of the most important and reputable philosophy resource sites on the Internet. Includes links to free online encyclopedias, bibliographies, and online full text of philosophy publications.
