 Contains short articles covering current events and issues related to women, along with basic statistics on women in each country of the world. Other sections include biographical information, timelines and an extensive list of sources, both print and online.

Statistical Record of Women Worldwide.  2nd ed.  Ref.  HQ 1150 .S73 1995
 This publication provides statistical tables covering income, employment, education, health, crime and politics.  Sources of statistics are approximately half  U. S. and half international.

Statistical Handbook on Women in America.  2nd ed.  Ref.  HQ 1420 .T34 1996
 Statistics for this volume were taken from U. S. government publications only, and include tables on demographics, employment and economic status, health aspects and social characteristics.  Specific sources are listed for each table.

The World's Women 2000:  Trends and Statistics.     Ref.  HQ 1154 .W675 2000
 A United Nations publication including narrative and statistical information on women's issues grouped into categories of population, families, health, education, work and human rights.

Women in the Third World.    Ref. HQ 1870.9 .W6548 1998
 Lengthy essays divided into categories such as political and legal contexts, demographics and health, marriage and the family, women and production, and movements for change.  Also includes essays on women in geographical regions of Africa, Asia, the Far East and Latin America.  

State of Women in the World Atlas.     Ref.  G 1046 .E1 S43 1997.
 Contains a series of maps depicting conditions for women.  The atlas covers family issues, reproduction, work, education, suffrage, health, crime, etc.  Also includes a statistical table for each country in the world, as well as notes and sources.

Women's Atlas of the United States.  Rev. ed.   Ref.  G 1201 .E1 G5 1995
 This atlas includes maps and charts on topics such as demographics, education, employment and income, health, crime, and politics.
